2024 has been an important year for Ursviken. Despite challenging market conditions, particularly in Europe, we have achieved remarkable milestones in automation and precision engineering. CEO Nicklas Jakobsson highlights the year’s achievements, showcasing our resilience and commitment to quality.
Building our Largest and Most Complex System to Date
This year we embarked on constructing our largest and most complex system to date. This project tested engineering limits, combining large-scale automation and unique functionality. “The size, technical challenges, and uniqueness of this system demanded entirely new solutions,” Jakobsson said. For this project, our solution will be able to dramatically cut the customer’s cycle times. The lessons learned set new benchmarks for future innovations.
Additionally, we have begun working on a new revolutionary angle measurement system that no one else is currently offering. The new system will take accuracy to an entirely new level.
Delivering the Largest Press Brake Ever
Another notable accomplishment in 2024 was the successful delivery of the largest press brake ever manufactured. This achievement highlights our capacity to handle large-scale projects while maintaining its commitment to quality and reliability.
Strengthening Quality and Agent Network
Over the past year, Ursviken has prioritized initiatives to ensure that every machine meets its promise of unparalleled quality and durability. We have invested in new equipment, resources, and refined working procedures to uphold our high standards.
Recognizing the importance of global reach, we have worked diligently to strengthen our agent network worldwide. In August we took on a partnership with Fredko Oy, strengthening our presence in Finland and the Baltic countries.
